Factory Farming

I created this piece as a statement against the method of factory farming. I wanted to portray this cruel reality of how livestock are treated in these farms so I created two similar canvases. The blue canvas shows the stark contrast between how animals seen as pets are treated versus how animals seen as livestock are treated. The red canvas points out how consumers are so far removed from associating live animals with food (as per my experiences living in the US).
